Run your language tutoring business with our AI-powered classroom, scheduling, and billing tools for as low as €0.99 per session.
Outperforming the competition
Other platforms like Preply take 15-33% of each lesson you teach.
At Voilà, we do things differently. We separate the payment from the platform.
We've combined the best of a learning management system with advanced AI tools, designed specifically for language instruction.
Generate lesson plans, create roleplay scenarios, and produce custom images for your lessons instantly. It's multi-modal, covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Voilà's multilingual transcription outperforms Google Meet, Otter.ai, and Fireflies. Tailored for accents and language learners, we catch "code-switching" and dual languages in your lessons.
A specialized video platform with a collaborative board. Upload PDFs, write over images, use sticky notes, and share a Google Doc-style board.
Integrated with Google Calendar. Manage your student roster, handle cancellations, and organize your availability without leaving the app.
Keep your personal WhatsApp or phone number private. Communicate with students directly through our secure in-app messaging system.
Students can find you for free. We don't charge for leads. Advertise your profile and let students discover your teaching style.
Tools like Otter.ai or Fireflies.ai aren't designed for multilingual classes. Voilà is built for language learning. Our extension integrates directly into your browser to supercharge your Google Meet and Zoom sessions.
Invite our bot to record audio/video, or record locally. No more "host permission" awkwardness.
The AI pulls context from previous lessons and student interests to suggest relevant discussion topics in real-time.
Need a visual? The AI generates images for description exercises or audio dialogues for listening practice on the fly.
No signup fees. No hidden costs. Browse thousands of tutors instantly.
Get intelligent summaries of every lesson. Review vocabulary and concepts automatically extracted from your conversations.
Take your learning on the go with the Voilà app. Coming soon to XR glasses for immersive practice.

Learners today are fragmented across too many tools—using Google Translate for quick fixes, ChatGPT for context, and apps like Duolingo for drills. Voilà is evolving to consolidate the best of these into a single adaptive platform. By integrating our engine with wearable tech like Android XR or Meta Ray-Bans, we turn your real-world environment into an immersive classroom. To ensure complete mastery, we ground this cutting-edge technology in the proven efficacy of 1-on-1 human tutoring.
We are proud to announce our integration with Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses. Currently in Developer Preview, this powerful combination allows Voilà to listen to your real-world conversations via audio or video and provide instant grammar feedback stored in your Voilà app.

Voilà is an XR language learning platform built for Android XR devices and upcoming Google XR Glasses. You put on your glasses, go about your normal day, and Voilà overlays translations, explanations, and practice prompts directly onto your real-world surroundings. Behind the scenes, we combine object/visual recognition, speech analysis, and a personalized recommendation engine to turn every interaction into structured language practice.
Most apps keep you on your phone doing decontextualized exercises. Our user research showed people don't lack tools—they lack real-life relevance, structure, and consistency. Voilà flips this: we start from real-life scenarios (pharmacy, hardware store, café, municipality appointments, social events) and use XR to support you while you live those situations. The phone becomes optional; your world becomes the interface.
People already use Google Translate for quick answers and ChatGPT for explanations—but those tools don't know your history, goals, or grammar weaknesses. Voilà integrates a translation engine and an internal "ChatGPT-for-languages" directly into your learning profile: it tracks every word, topic, and scenario you interact with, and then curates stories, news, grammar practice, and speaking tasks that target your specific gaps. All of that is tied to your CEFR level and real-life usage, not one-off chats.
Voilà is being built primarily for Android XR devices and future Google XR Glasses. In the beta phase, we'll support compatible Android XR hardware plus a companion mobile app for reviewing summaries, stories, news, tutor feedback, and pronunciation exercises. Over time, we plan to expand to additional XR devices as the ecosystem matures.
We're focused on Europe first. Voilà is designed to support 32 language variants, including English (US/UK), Portuguese (Portugal/Brazil), Spanish (Spain/LatAm), French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Czech, Greek, Romanian, Turkish, Polish, Catalan, Ukrainian, Slovenian, Bulgarian, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Croatian, Slovak, Irish, and Maltese.
Voilà is built for +13 learners who need the language for real life, not just for fun: expats, digital nomads, remote workers, international students, and professionals who've moved abroad or work with foreign teams. Our interviews showed their motivation is highly practical—getting through admin tasks, talking to contractors, navigating health care, joining social life—so the product is designed around those real-life outcomes, not abstract "Unit 4: Transportation" content.
Voilà is tutor-augmented, not tutor-replacing. The AI handles the heavy lifting: tracking every word you engage with, generating daily stories and scenario drills tailored to your interests and level, and giving instant feedback on sentences and pronunciation. With your permission, tutors then plug into a dashboard that shows what you actually did in real life—conversations, scenarios, recurring errors—so they can run short, targeted sessions around your real day instead of generic textbook lessons. The result: fewer boring classes, more "this exactly happened to me yesterday, let's fix it."
Instead of vague "fluency percentages," Voilà measures progress through scenario-based achievements and vocabulary growth. We track how you perform in specific tasks (like handling a pharmacy visit, writing to a landlord, or chatting with colleagues), how your vocabulary in those domains expands, and how your accuracy improves over time. Every interaction—stories, news, sentence practice, XR-recorded conversations—feeds into the recommendation engine so your content gets progressively harder and more tailored as you improve.
Users stay in control. Any audio or conversation recorded via XR is explicitly opt-in and exists to help you learn: to generate feedback, corrections, and tutor-ready summaries. You decide what's stored, what's deleted, and what can be shared with a tutor. Data is encrypted, and the platform is being designed to comply with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations. For investors and partners, this also means we're building a privacy-first architecture from the start.
The beta will onboard a limited number of learners, tutors, and partners in waves. Beta users get early access to the XR features, daily stories and news, scenario-based practice, sentence and pronunciation activities, and the tutor dashboard. Pricing for the public launch is still being finalized; during beta, we may experiment with discounted or free access in exchange for structured feedback. Tutors can request to join the beta to use Voilà with their students and help shape the product, and investors/partners can join to see the tech and usage patterns up close.
Unlike other platforms, we do not process your tuition payments. You arrange payment directly with your student (via Zelle, PayPal, IBAN, etc.). This allows you to keep 100% of your earnings. We charge as low as €0.99 per session for using our tools.
Yes, significantly. Preply takes commission starting at 33% and going down to 18%. iTalki charges 15%. If you charge €40/lesson, Preply takes ~€7.20 - €13.20. Voilà starts at just €0.99.
Voilà works directly in your browser (Chrome/Edge/Brave). For the best experience, we recommend installing our Chrome Extension to integrate with Google Meet.
Yes! Students can create accounts, find tutors, and join lessons completely for free.
In the short term, Voilà runs on any ARCore-enabled Android phone, so everything we're building for glasses can already be used through your phone's camera and screen. You'll be able to use scenario practice, daily stories, news reading with learning tools, sentence and pronunciation activities, and even object/visual recognition directly on mobile. Some experiences—like truly hands-free, all-day conversation recording and feedback—are things we ultimately expect you to do with glasses, not by holding up your phone all the time. That's why we're building the infrastructure, AI pipeline, and product experience now, so when Google XR Glasses (and other Android XR devices) are widely available, Voilà becomes a seamless upgrade: your account, history, and personalized recommendation engine carry over instantly into the glasses experience.
